Job Summary:

We’re seeking a data-driven and strategic Category Lead to manage and grow key product categories across e-commerce platforms. This role involves owning the P&L, driving assortment and pricing strategy, optimizing listings, and collaborating with vendors and platforms like Amazon & Flipkart to deliver strong business outcomes.



Responsibilities:


  • Own category-level P&L and drive revenue, margins, and growth.

  • Build and manage vendor relationships; negotiate terms and marketing support.

  • Develop assortment, pricing, and promotion strategies based on data insights.

  • Optimize product listings and ensure catalog accuracy across platforms.

  • Coordinate with the supply chain for inventory planning and fill rate optimization.

  • Collaborate on marketing campaigns to boost visibility and sales.

  • Analyze performance metrics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.

  • Ensure smooth customer experience and operational compliance.


Requirements


  • 5+ years in e-commerce/category management (retail/FMCG preferred).

  • Strong platform knowledge (Amazon, Flipkart) and existing industry connects.

  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Proficient in Excel; knowledge of project tools (Asana, Notion) is a plus.

  • Bachelor's/Master’s in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
